Privacy notice for site visitors
Adan Avelar Islas, doing business as Adan Design, located at Luz Saviñón 1357, colonia Narvarte Poniente, alcaldía Benito Juárez, C.P. 03020, Ciudad de México, is responsible for the personal data you send us through this site. We handle it under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and this notice. The Spanish version is the one that governs.

- Data we handle
Only what you type into the site's forms:
- Identity and contact: name, email address and company or organization.
- About what you're looking for: what you need, how you'd like to work, budget, timing, how you found us, the Academy track you're interested in and whether you're enrolling yourself or your team.
- From the assessment, if you choose to send it: your answers, the result and any comment you add.
We don't ask for sensitive data. Please don't include any in the free-text fields.
- Primary purposes
These are needed to handle what you ask for:
- Replying to your contact request and preparing a proposal or quote.
- Managing your enrollment in an Academy cohort or the open class: confirming your seat, sending the level assessment and writing to you about the cohort.
- Reviewing the assessment you send us and replying to you.
- Sending you the newsletter, if you subscribed.
- Secondary purposes
Not needed to serve you, but they help us:
- Sending you news, new Academy cohorts and promotions, even if you didn't subscribe to the newsletter.
- Internal statistics on how people find us and which services interest them most.
If you don't want us to use your data for these purposes, email privacidad@adandesign.com or use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails. Saying no doesn't affect what you asked us for.
- Automated decisions
The assessment calculates your result automatically and is only meant as guidance. We don't make any decision about you without a person on our team reviewing it.
- Who we share it with
We don't sell or transfer your data to third parties, except where the law allows it without your consent, such as a request from an authority.
To run the site we use providers that process data only on our behalf: Hostinger (site hosting and email), Google (the spreadsheets where we keep requests) and n8n (the tool that receives the forms).
- Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or withdraw your consent. Email privacidad@adandesign.com with:
- Your full name and the email you used to contact us.
- A copy of an official ID (passport, Mexican INE or professional license). If you're acting on someone's behalf, the document that proves it.
- What you're asking for and which data it covers. For a correction, include the right information.
We reply by email within 20 business days. If we don't reply or you disagree with our answer, you can go to Mexico's Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, the data protection authority.
- Limiting use
To limit how your data is used or disclosed, or to stop getting our emails, write to privacidad@adandesign.com or use the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Cookies and tracking
This site uses no tracking cookies and no analytics or advertising tools. Your browser stores two things only on your device: the color theme you pick and your assessment result, to pre-fill the contact form. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when serving them.
- Security
We use administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your data: the site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and only the Adan Design team can see requests.
